Are you satisfied with your mobility? Have you noticed that as you age, you're becoming stiffer and experiencing body aches? Is your flexibility decreasing?

Although regular massages can be helpful in the short term, to improve flexibility in the long term, it's essential to stretch correctly and consistently.

Studies have shown that stretching while in a relaxed state has the most significant impact on flexibility. Breathwork is an excellent technique to aid relaxation. Thus, Bend and Breathe was created.

About this class

This weekly class will be in a relaxing, welcoming, nurturing, supportive and safe environment. You will learn to breathe to become relaxed, present and body aware.

This class is all about slowing down and learning stretching techniques to improve flexibility. You will become more bendy, helping you cope with yoga, gym sessions, running, squatting and improving your range of movement.

Each week we will focus on different parts of the body, including the neck, shoulders, hamstrings, hips and back. The session will end with learning breathing techniques to help with sleep, focus, concentration and to manage anxiety.

It has been an adjustment to try nose breathing while running - after years of breathing the wrong way! I’m building up to being able to run 10km by September this year and a slower running style and nose breathing have helped me run further than I have in a long long time so thank you.
